Marcia Luyten is a cultural historian and economist. She works as a journalist, publicist, moderator and is the author of “Ziende blind in de sauna: Hoe onze politiek, economie en cultuur ‘Afrikaanse trekken’ krijgen” (Lemniscaat 2008) and “Witte geef geld” (Podium 2003).

Her Inspiration

TEDxChange could be the culmination of what years in Africa have taught me: development requires people with an entrepreneurial spirit. It requires people who search for what works. They deserve support. At this TEDxChange, good ideas no longer remain ideas.
